KL SERIES BECKHOFF AUTOMATION MODULE

KL Series (Bus Terminals)

The KL series consists of Beckhoff’s Bus Terminals, which are modular I/O modules used in decentralized automation systems. They connect to various fieldbuses via a Bus Coupler.

Key Features:

• Modularity: Each terminal is a modular component that can be connected side-by-side to form a complete system.
• Fieldbus Independence: With different Bus Couplers, KL terminals can be used with various fieldbus systems like PROFIBUS, CANopen, DeviceNet, and more.

• EtherCAT Protocol: Utilizes EtherCAT for real-time data exchange with cycle times of less than 100 microseconds.
